Senior Fishing Day: 9 a.m.-1 p.m., June 6, Auburn’s Mill Pond on Oravetz Road, across from Auburn Riverside High School. Presented by Auburn Parks, Arts & Recreation Department. Thanks to the Green River Steelhead Trout Club and Auburn Sports and Marine, the pond has been stocked, and tackle and bait will be provided for those who need it. No licenses are necessary, as the event is held on Washington’s free fishing weekend. A plaque will be awarded to the angler who catches the largest fish.
