The Kids Tennis Foundation, the Lord Mayor’s Charitable Fund and the Bone Growth Foundation Inc will be the official charity partners for the 2009 Australian Open Tennis championships.
Roger Federer (pictured), Rafael Nadal, Justine Henin, Jelena Jankovic and the rest of the world’s best players will converge on Melbourne to compete in the Open, which will also feature a range of entertainment events including concerts with Evermore, Pete Murray, Gabriella Cilmi and The Cat Empire New York’s Spiegelworld and free concerts for Open ticket holders.
Tickets to Australian Open Grand Slam Tennis and other events, on January 19 to February 1, are on sale now.
