They were so sure he would die that they even ushered in tiny Warwick’s parents Leigh Dumighan and David Newcombe to say their heartbreaking goodbyes. Warwick Dumighan celebrates his first birthday with his proud parents Leigh and David Over the next 72 hours, Warwick stopped breathing 18 times but, to everyone’s astonishment, Warwick kept coming back to life. Leigh said: ‘What happened to Warwick is a pure miracle. He brought himself back to life.
