The 22nd Annual Bayou Bengal Booster Club held its LSU Celebrity Tournament on Friday at Ellendale Country Club.
The tourney is the lone fund-raising event for the booster club, which is based in Houma. Winners in the event were Gulf Fleet (first gross in the afternoon flight), Bill’s Bayou Babes (first net in the afternoon flight), Houma Ortho Clinic (first gross in the morning flight) and Superior Shipyard (first net in the morning flight). Gulf Fleet shot 55 and consisted of Peter Fortier, Rudy Boudreaux, Jerry Denny, Maurice Leblanc and Mike Hillman. Bill’s Bayou Babes shot 41 and consisted of Sharon Pontiff, Karen Rivette, Ella Rae Johnson, Harold Stalcup and Bill Bass. Houma Ortho Clink shot 54 and consisted of William Kinnard, Brett Casey, Lee Haydel, Jimmy Kreish and Van Chancellor. Superior Shipyard shot 41 and consisted of Scott Duet, Gary Callais, Chris Callais, Mitch Danos and Lyman White.
