Tasmania’s Bernadette Black (pictured) has been named Barnardos Australia’s Mother of the Year and was guest of honor at the Mother of the Year finals event in Sydney.
Bernadette, an author and RN, has pioneered the way for young, teenage and unexpected mothers.
‘I am a bit shocked and still can’t believe it,’ newly named Mother of the Year, Bernadette Black said.
