20, 7 p.m. The Fraternal Order of Eagles will be hosting a spaghetti dinner. Dinner is $8 for adults and $4 for children under 12 years. The no host bar will open at 3 p.m. and dinner will be served at 7 p.m. The Eagles Hall is located at 37650 Hwy. 16. Saturday, Feb. 21, 8 a.m. An E-Waste event will be held at the County Fair Mall in Woodland on the north side of the mall near the JC Penney store. The event will give everyone a chance to safely recycle old TVs, computers, monitors and cell phones. Hosted by the WAVE, Woodland’s Public Access TV as a fund raiser, volunteers will unload your recycles. It is an opportunity to get rid of old electronics, especially before the HD cut-over, and help a community nonprofit. Not accepted are microwaves, kitchen appliances, copiers or printers. For information, call 666-0202. Saturday, Feb. 21, 9 a.m. The Cache Creek Conservancy reported that the Jan T. Lowrey Cache Creek Nature Preserve will be open to the public until 2 p.m. People are encouraged to come out and Saturday, Feb. 21, 6 p.m. The California Waterfowl Association will be hosting the 14th annual Duck Days Dinner in Davis. The dinner features a tri-tip dinner from the Buckhorn and pizza for the kids at the Veterans Memorial Center. Call Laura Defty at 681-2701. Sunday, Feb. 22, 2 p.m. Evelyne Rowe Rominger and Richard Rominger will speak at the Yolo County Historical Society’s General Meeting at the Hattie Weber Museum, 445 C St., Davis. The couple will relate their family’s history and how it intertwines with the history of UC Davis. All Yolo County Historical Society general meetings are open and free to the public. Sunday, Feb. 22, 5 p.m. The Zamora 4-H will be holding a Spaghetti Dinner, the “Zamorgy Feed,” at the Zamora Town Hall until 7 p.m. The cost is $7 per adult and $5 for kids 12 and under and includes spaghetti, salad, bread, dessert and beverage. Crafts created by 4H members will be on sale as well as special delicious silent auction items. The money raised at this event will help to fund 4H activities and community service projects. Tickets are available at the door. Wednesday, Feb. 25, 6:15 p.m. Makoto Kai Healing Arts is offering an introductory yoga class for beginners. The first class is free. It will be offered at 443 First St., Woodland. Adults of any fitness level may come to learn about yoga, taught by certified yoga instructor, Cynthia Frueh. Friday, Feb. 27, 6 to 8:30 p.m. Join Davis Mayor Pro Tem Don Saylor to sample hot soup, fresh bread, great music and fine wine at the 5th annual charity fundraiser benefiting the environmental group Tuleyome. It will be held on the lower level of the Davis Odd Fellows Lodge, 415 Second St., Davis. Tickets for the event start at $25 and go up to $100. Call 350-2599.
