The endeavours of more than 50 bungee jumpers have helped raise thousands for charity and create a little piece of history for the Island’s
record books. The spectacle not only provided Show visitors with day-long entertainment but also amassed £5600 for the Centre. In addition, one lucky prize entrant, James Quayle of Fort Anne Road, Douglas, won himself a free jump off Britain’s tallest bridge bungee, the 200 feet Transporter Bridge in Middlesborough.
The IOMCC’s Adventure Events Fundraising Coordinator Mark Eastham said the day had been an unparalleled success.
