Cool island music will mix with a hot time for everyone at this year’s “Tropical Nights” to benefit Children’s Home Society of Florida (CHS). The cocktail party and silent auction hosted by CHS’ Gold Coast Guild will be held Saturday, Oct. 24, from 5 to 8 p.m. at the lush and scenic Old Marsh Golf Club in Palm Beach Gardens. Last year’s inaugural event was highlighted by Carlton Lambert, who will be back again with his steel drum expertise to set the ‘tropical’ mood. A list of great silent auction items includes a three-day, two-night stay with golf at the Palm Coast’s gorgeous Hammock Beach Resort and a day of deep-sea fishing on the 40-foot “Ocean Devotion” donated by David Wisehaupt.
Several other select auction items will also be included.
