THE family of a young Braunton soldier who died in a road accident are urging people to attend a fundraising event and celebrate his
life. Andrew Hirst , 22, died two weeks ago after a collision with a car in Tenby, Wales. Andrew had been involved in planning a fundraiser for the ‘Help the Heroes’ charity at the Mariner’s Arms in Braunton today.. His family are passionately supporting the event. His mum Julie told the Journal : “It does help that he lived his life to the full. “He wouldn’t want us to be miserable, he would want us to celebrate his life. “It is great for the family to carry on this in his memory.
“We want to raise as much money for all those who need our help.
