You know a country is doing well when it has a charity for fathers. Seriously, fathers—the untouchable paragons of strength, authority, and stoic masculinity—need help? Aren’t they the ones with all the dad jokes, the grilling skills, and the uncanny ability to fix just about anything with duct tape? Surely, they’ve got it all figured out… or do they?
Turns out, even dads need a little help sometimes. And that’s where the Centre for Fathering (CFF) steps in. Since 2000, this Singapore-based organization has been rewriting the rules on fatherhood, helping dads connect with their kids and transform their families. Through initiatives like the DADs for Life movement, which has been inspiring fathers since 2015, CFF has impacted thousands of families—including those from disadvantaged backgrounds and even incarcerated dads.
This year marks a double celebration: CFF’s 25th Anniversary and DADs for Life’s 15th Anniversary. To mark this incredible milestone, you’re invited to an unforgettable charity gala dinner. It’s an evening of exciting activities, heartfelt moments, and a chance to support a cause that’s strengthening families across Singapore.
For all their achievements, CFF’s work is far from done. With 15,000 new dads joining the ranks every year and a $2.5 million fundraising goal in sight, your support is more vital than ever. So, let’s celebrate, support, and show the world that even dads—yes, dads—need a little help now and then.
Because when dads thrive, families flourish—and that’s a legacy worth celebrating.
Centre for Fathering (CFF) was founded in 2000 to transform the lives of fathers and children, and impact families. Since taking on the national DADs for Life movement in 2015 to inspire and engage more fathers to be involved, we have transformed thousands of families, including many whose fathers are incarcerated or from disadvantaged backgrounds. However, the work is far from accomplished.
Last year, we equipped more than 5,000 fathers with our programmes. This is only a drop in the ocean compared to the number of fathers we need to reach. About 15,000 men in Singapore become fathers annually, which means there are about 200,000 fathers with children up to 12 years old that need equipping and support.
That’s where you come in. We are asking for your help to achieve the $2.5M fundraising target to achieve our goals and make a difference to the lives of those we serve.
