With homelessness on the rise, City Mission in Sydney invited top business people to experience sleeping rough at Luna Park for a night. Celebrity Dick Smith explained, It’s changed my way of thinking. I mean last night we had a piece of cardboard to lie on because it was raining, I was only under a bit of cover. I hardly had any sleep.
The night initially raised $500 000 in funds and support, and for the CEOs a new awareness of the plight of the citys homeless.
