Champers Ball 2009 for Queensland Institute of Medical Research supporting Breast Cancer research

The Queensland Institute of Medical Research (QIMR) will host its annual Champers Ball on the 23rd May 2009 to raise much-needed funds to help QIMR find a way to beat breast cancer. Since its inaugural launch in 2005, many of you have attended the Champers Ball and raised much-needed funds to help QIMR find a way to beat breast cancer.
It is their pleasure to invite you and your friends to join them for a night of superb entertainment, dancing, and tantalising food and wine – for the benefit of Queensland Institute of Medical Research and all those people whose lives have been touched by breast cancer. The Champers Ball is an exclusive black-tie event, held to honour the memory of Charmaine Champers Millar who sadly passed away from breast cancer in 2004.
In 2008 a record 330 people attended, successfully raising a grand total of $33,651.00 their best effort thus far. The Champers Ball 2009 is shaping up to be the biggest and best yet.
