What if there was an event where you could run with your loved ones and enjoy an array of performances, activities and food stalls after, all while contributing to a good cause? Sounds awesome right? Well, that’s exactly what Chariofare 2023 is all about. Happening on September 23 at the International Medical University in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, all proceeds from this event will be used to help children with special needs, domestic abuse victims, and people with mental health problems.

Since its first launch in 2012, CHARIOFARE has assisted and improved the lives of more than 10,000 underprivileged individuals in the community nationwide by providing essentials including medical treatment and equipment as well as through our emergency relief during disaster. CHARIOFARE 2023 is expected to host over 1,000 participants including IMU staff, students and families, professional and amateur runners, community partners, as well as the general public to join us throughout multiple awareness programs commencing August 2023 and will culminate in a charity run and family-friendly carnival on 23 September 2023.

Carnival starts at 8.00 am and finishes at 1.30 pm.  Booths will be up and ready to go by 8.00 a.m. Speech and performances will start at 8.30.

• A large variety of captivating and authentic food stalls run by our own IMU students and staff! External vendors will be arranged around the campus too.
• Variety of games and activity booths will be run by IMU students and staff for the whole family to enjoy.
• Enthralling performances to be sure to fascinate you throughout the event. Don’t miss it!
• Various healthcare products, as well as items of convenience, will also be sold.
• Medical, dental, and traditional Chinese Medicine health checkups will also be available for you to squeeze in between games or meals.
