Charity Concern In Aid Of Click Sargent And Daniel Cox 2009: The Family

Charity concern in aid of Click Sargent and Daniel Cox

THE family of a musician who died of a brain tumour are holding a memorial concert for him.
Daniel Cox, 22, of Waterloo died last July. But he left behind a legacy of music, community work and a family determined to help charities and organisations which supported Daniel during his illness. Daniel’s sister, Denise Bryce, said: “There will be a lot of music and dancing and tributes. “It will be a really lively event but tinged with sadness too. “It will remember Daniel and raise money for Clic Sargent who really helped Daniel and the family when he was ill. “They provided a support worker to drive him to and from the hospital for radiotherapy rather than him needing an ambulance.”
Daniel was diagnosed with the condition shortly before Christmas in 2007 and began radiotherapy in January 2008.
