The townwide garage sale planned for May 30 at Morristown’s DeHart Street Municipal Garage has been postponed until October, according to a town spokesperson.
The event was scheduled to benefit the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life, a fundraiser taking place next month at Morristown High School.
But the weekend garage sale ran into unexpected scheduling conflicts for some of the garage sale volunteers, so it’s being pushed back to the fall, the same as last year’s sale, said Laura Leach, the town coordinator for the event. Laura said the garage sale still will be a benefit for the Relay for Life.
