3:09pm Tuesday 18th August 2009 MERCURY-prize nominated band Maps are set to headline a charity music festival at an Oxford pub.
Audioscope, which raises money for homelessness charity Shelter, will take place at The Jericho Tavern, Walton Street, on Saturday, October 17. It will be the ninth time the festival has taken place. Band mates Stuart Fowkes and Simon Minter, both from East Oxford and members of Sunnyvale Noise Sub-Element, dreamed up the idea back in 2001. He added:
