For many, access to food is a daily struggle, and organizations like Kawartha Lakes Food Source are crucial in the fight against hunger.
Kawartha Lakes Food Source is dedicated to addressing food insecurity by supplying essential food and personal care items to various community organizations. Their mission is to ensure that everyone has access to the basics they need to thrive.
One way to support this vital cause is by participating in CLAR’s Charity Golf Tournament, where all proceeds will benefit Kawartha Lakes Food Source. This exciting event will feature 18 holes of golf, various contests, and a wine raffle. Here are more details about the event from the organizers:

18-hole tournament, lots of excitement for golfers and non-golfers alike.
Golf registration includes green fees, cart, “goodie bag”, breakfast sandwich, and a BBQ lunch after the day’s event.

Single Golfer, Single Tournament: $125.00
Book a foursome or sign-up as a single, twosome or threesome and we will place you in a group. Your group doesn’t need to be a mixed team.
Course Contests: Participate in the putting contest, closest to the pin (men’s and women’s), closest to the stump, and the hole-in-one competition.
Trivia Challenge: Each team will receive a trivia card. Answer the questions throughout the course— the team with the most correct answers wins a prize!
Wine Wine Wine Raffle: Bring one bottle of wine to receive one raffle ticket, bring an additional non-perishable food item with your bottle of wine to receive two raffle tickets. Additional tickets can be purchased at 3 for $20 or 1 for $10. The winner takes home all of the wine participants bring in. CLAR’s Director of Public Affairs is issuing a personal challenge for this raffle. She will provide two additional bottles of wine if we make it to 50 bottles!
