Christina Applegate I Cry At Least Once A Day 2009: Actress Christina

Christina Applegate I Cry at Least Once a Day

Actress Christina Applegate opens up to Oprah Winfrey about her successful fight with breast cancer.
Applegate, 37, says that despite being diagnosed with breast cancer last year and undergoing a double mastectomy, she now considers the ordeal a “blessing” and “an opportunity to go out and fight” for early breast cancer detection, especially for women in her age group. The “Samantha Who” actress told Oprah that losing her breasts was devastating. “I cry at least one a day about it.” She revealed that she currently has temporary breast expanders in preparation for getting permanent implants in the future. “You are reminded of this thing every day.” Applegate also spoke about the difficulty of being pursued by the media while going through her cancer diagnosis and treatment. “It makes it harder because you can’t walk around in that mode,” she said. When asked by Oprah if her successful fight against cancer had made up for the darker moments, she responded: “Absolutely. I have taken a very progressive stance in the rest of my life.” Catch Hollywood’s brightest stars out on the town! Do you think your fave celeb’s style is super sweet or totally beat
