Cruise raises 27k for charity

24th August 2009 The motorcycle convoy heads out of Toowoomba on Ruthven Street.
HARLEY Davidson rookie Pam Kuhn was hard-pressed to find a single highlight of yesterday’s Cruise for Cancer ride. “It was all bloody good,†she laughed. Mrs Kuhn rode in the sidecar of Kim Jorgensen’s Electra Glide Ultra Classic for the Queensland Cancer Council fund-raiser. From her sidecar she took in picturesque landscapes as the 262 motorcycles cruised from the Rumours International car park on Ruthven Street to Clifton, Sandy Creek and Leslie Dam. “The smell of the open country was beautiful,†Mrs Kuhn said.
“I’d never been on a Harley or in a sidecar before, but I think I’ve been converted.â€
