Johnny Depp made a surprise visit to a childrens hospital yesterday dressed as Jack Sparrow from the movie Pirates of the Caribbean.
Depp dusted off his famous costume to visit several wards at the Great Ormond Street Hospital. The Hollywood star was in London for the premiere of Public Enemies, but took time out from his hectic schedule for a friendly chat with the kids and staff at the hospital, and to pose for photos with them all.
As the actors own daughter stayed at the Grand Ormond Street hospital to recover from kidney failure in 2007, this was not the first return visit for Johnny Depp – but it was for Jack Sparrow.
