Part of a series of events being held across Australia, Dick Smith Walk With Me provides an opportunity for the community to recognise, support and celebrate diversity in an inclusive and festive environment.
On 31st August, the 2.5km walk along the swan river foreshore begins at 11am from Rocky Bay on McCabe Street. It will be followed by family entertainment including Ranger Reds wildlife show, face painting, drumming and live music, balloon animals and even a pirate storyteller!
Money raised from the event will help Rocky Bay to optimise the quality of life for people living with disability, providing vital funds for the Assistive Technology programme and making dreams come true through The Wishing Tree.
