Even securing food for the household is often a burden, especially to families and children who are born in the funnels of poverty. Local foundations like Dixon Hall that support and highlight providing meals to the community and programs that focuses on diversity are paramount in building solutions to end the tiring cycle of poverty, injustice, and isolation.
In support of the Dixon Hall’s food programs, join the celebratory Dixonlicious event that caters food and beverage stations from restaurants in Regent Park and surrounding neighborhoods of downtown east Toronto. Proceeds from the tummy-filling event will go straight to the foundation’s different programs, such as Meals on Wheels.
Dixon Hall began as a soup kitchen in 1929, and since then has been steadily increasing and strengthening a diverse range of integrated services for residents of East Downtown Toronto.
By supporting Dixonlicious, you are making a direct contribution to help those in need in our community. On top of taking part in an amazing evening AND giving back to the community, 70% of the ticket price comes back to you as a tax receipt!
