BY AMY SOWDER • asowdernews-press.com • August 15, 2009 Many women have them hiding in the dark abyss of their closets.
They lurk in the shadowy recesses of the past, doing nothing but wasting space. Those dresses that don’t fit. That don’t suit your style these days. Or you’ve just worn them too many times. As a saleswoman and charity coordinator for Norman Love Confections, Christin Collins bemoaned how she couldn’t keep buying new dresses for the events she was required to attend. Yet she couldn’t keep re-wearing her standards. Then about two months ago, Collins met Trish Leonard at a Bonita Springs Area Chamber of Commerce event.
The pair became fast friends when they thought of a solution: a Love That Dress! charity event.
