Durham Dog Charity To Sponsor Music Festival 2009: Into Effect

Durham dog charity to sponsor music festival

You may remember went into effect on July 1, 2009, stating no dogs may be left tied up outside for more than three hours
in a 24-hour period. However, Durham County will not be enforcing this law until January 1, 2010. Until then, local Durham charity, The Coalition to Unchain Dogs is hosting a music festival. All proceeds go to build fences for dogs that would otherwise be tired out – Music for Fences! Band lineup includes: Superchunk, Regina Hexaphone, The Kinksmen and Ray Norteno. Music For Fences will be held at Durham Central Park in Downtown Durham. Tickets are $8 in advance and $10 at the door.
