5:28pm Wednesday 25th February 2009 A DYNAMIC duo of police chiefs are preparing to get saddle sore as they attempt to raise cash for
charity. They are already spending their free time pounding the streets around Police HQ in preparation for the London to Paris ride in July. Mr Price came up with the idea in the New Year and Mr Bonnard readily agreed to join him in the ride which is a national event organised by the charity. Mr Price, a keen mountain biker, said: “The police often ask for the publics help so I felt this was a way of giving something back. It is a very worthy cause and also a great way to keep fit.” Mr Bonnard, also an experienced cyclist, added: “It’s a case of putting in the road miles now in training so we are ready for the challenge in July.” The pair have set a target of
