City officials say the crowd at the expo gets larger every year. According to the latest count, this year’s expo will feature 59 exhibitors both inside and outside the building. Wonder about that new business that opened up down the street Or maybe that one you pass by every day on your way to work and never have gotten around to visiting You’ve got an opportunity to find out what’s behind the doors of those businesses this Thursday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the seventh annual Eden Chamber of Commerce Business Expo. Exhibitors will showcase their services at the former Goodwill store in the Kingsway Plaza at the expo. “I’ve had a lot of people calling, asking me about it,” said Lou Trollinger of the Eden Chamber. “They look forward to it every year.” Each year, the crowd at the expo gets larger, said Cindy Adams, coordinator of tourism and special events for the city of Eden and former Chamber president. At last count, this year’s expo will feature 59 exhibitors both inside and outside the building, according to Trollinger.
“We have a very diverse group of businesses involved. It’s going to be very exciting,” said Adams. Among the outdoor exhibitors are the Rockingham County Bloodmobile, BB&T Bank bus, Job Link bus, William Chilton Auto Racing and Tri-City Automotive Group. Each year, several new exhibitors join the list of businesses showcasing their services at the expo.
