There is a Sculptural Hand Building Class with local ceramics artist Laura Moon starting Monday, Aug.

On Thursday, Sept. 3, tour the Gilman Garrison in a new light, a distinctly “green” light from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Historian Peter Michaud will lead visitors through the early 18th century building, highlighting deliberate reuse of materials, from the building to the collections. The cost of the tour is $7 for Historic New England members, and $14 for non-members. The Gilman Garrison is located at 12 Water St. in Exeter.
