It’s not every day you get to meet a meerkat, a marmoset, and an Asian palm civet up close. But on June 6 – 7, you’ll get that rare chance as Hopefield Animal Sanctuary presents Exotic Animal Weekends. Aside from meeting these fascinating creatures, you can enjoy delicious BBQ, partake in refreshing drinks, and discover other kid-friendly activities so make sure to bring the whole clan! Proceeds raised from this event will go to Hopefield Animal Sanctuary whose mission is to “provide a safe and loving home for abused, abandoned and neglected animals.”
6th & 7th Jun, 1st & 2nd Aug, 3rd & 4th Oct | 10.00am to 4.00pm
Due to licensing restrictions, we can only welcome visitors to our rescued “exotic” animals for just six days per year – which means once these dates are gone, they’re gone. If you’ve ever wanted to get closer to some of the most unusual animals you’ll meet, this is your moment.
Across the weekend, visitors can discover an extraordinary variety of rescued animals, including:
- Meerkats
- Parrots
- Marmosets
- Skunks
- Asian palm civets
- Foxes
Each animal has their own rescue story, and your visit directly supports their lifelong care.
