Are you from or near Holmeswood, Lancashire? If you answered yes, then you’re in luck because you have the chance to heed the call of help from Woodlands Animal Sanctuary, a self-funded charity who looks after ill, neglected, and unwanted animals. They have been rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming animals since 2005, and with costs rising quickly recently, they need help from the community. On August 19, they will be having Family Fun Day, their biggest fundraising event of the year. There will be different kinds of entertainment for the whole family – bouncy castles and kids’ games for the children, live entertainment and various stalls and refreshments for the adults. Everyone will also get a chance to meet the animals that the sanctuary is taking care of.

Join us for our annual Family Fun Day, where you will find activities the whole family can enjoy – whilst raising much needed funds for us so we can continue our life changing work for as many animals as possible.

There will be entertainment through the day in our main arena, bouncy castles, birds of prey from Lancashire Hawks and Owls, reptiles from North West Reptile Club, refreshments and our fun dog show. There will also be our numerous stalls, crafts and kids games and of course the opportunity to meet all of our amazing animals.
