A documentary film that chronicles the remarkable story of the courageous Liberian women who came together to end a bloody civil war and bring peace to their shattered country.
Followed by Q&A chaired by Oona King with two of the film’s protagonists: Etweda “Sugars” Cooper, a doyenne of Liberia’s women’s movement and Asatu Bah Kenneth, a senior policewoman and peace activist.
The discussion will be followed by a drinks reception with Sugars, Asatu and Alert staff working on Liberia.
