Formby RAF Corporal In 40mile Help For Heroes Charity Walk 2009: An Raf

Formby RAF corporal in 40mile Help for Heroes charity walk

AN RAF corporal has chosen to walk 40 miles &ndash one for each day of his life &ndash in aid of Help for Heroes
charity. To mark his 40th birthday, Corporal Jez Ambrose will take on the trek from Keswick to Barrow. The father of two, who lives in Marina Road and has been in the RAF Regiment for 20 years will complete the event with his civil servant brother David, 49. Jez, who is now based at the Armed Forces Careers Office in Manchester, has served all over including the Falklands as well as Afghanistan and the Middle East. Help for Heroes is a cause close to his heart as he has friends as well as colleagues who have been injured in the line of duty and need help. Both Jez and David, will be part of a team with other members of the RAF and Civil Service. X. After seeing his brother serve over the last 20 years, David was keen to do his bit knowing Jez was lucky to come home safe and fit. Jez’s wife Lisa, their children Matthew, eight and Hannah, four will join David’s wife, Freshfield Primary School teacher Donna, and children Naomi, 16 and Olivia, five, to wave the dads off, then meet them at the finish.”
