About the Free Care 5K
Since St. Barnabas was founded in 1900, we have aimed to provide charitable contributions to members of our community that may not have the ability to pay. We continue to do this with our annual charitable events, like the St. Barnabas FreeCare5K presented by Paracca Interiors Flooring America. For over 30 years, runners and philanthropists alike have gathered at our 5K to raise money for the St. Barnabas Free Care Fund, which provides more than $6 million in free care to patients in need every year.We invite people of all ages and skill levels to join us to benefit a great cause, including competitive and amateur runners, joggers, walkers, teams, and stroller and wheelchair users. You can register both in-person and virtually for $25 in advance and $30 on the day of the race. Entry fees are non-refundable, and no inline skates, pets, or smoking are allowed.
