Geena Davis has joined with UNIFEM Australia to promote gender equality.
The Academy Award winning actress met with a number of people to discuss empowering women and to lay a path to create gender equality around the world.
After the meeting with Geena Davis Australia announced it will inject $300 000 into the UNIFEM Pacific Fund to End Violence Against Women.
