Harness The Healing Power of Yoga for Yourself and Others: Yoga Reaches Out

Roll out your yoga mats and help save children’s lives.

Do you know where the word “yoga” comes from? It comes from the Sanskrit root “Yuj”, which means “to join” or “to yoke” or “to unite”. Originating from ancient India, it is a spiritual discipline that connects the body and mind. Yoga can help improve one’s overall health through various stretching, strengthening poses, meditation, and breathing exercises. This April 28, get a chance to practice this discipline with other yoga enthusiasts, new and seasoned, as Yoga Reaches Out opens a session at WIN Waste Field House, Foxborough, MA, for the benefit of the “world’s leading pediatric research hospital,” Boston Children’s Hospital.

Yoga Reaches Out brings together more than 1,000 participants, marketplace vendors, sponsors, and volunteers for a day of inspiration and empowerment. Participants raise money prior to event day, then come together for yoga sessions led by top instructors from New England and beyond. You don’t have to be a yoga expert—all skill levels are welcome!

This annual day of practice and celebration brings together yoga practitioners to raise funds to bring lifesaving answers to kids fighting devastating illnesses at Boston Children’s Hospital. Your support fuels breakthrough research, family support programs, and vital services to help patients heal and thrive.

Ganga White, a practitioner of Hatha-Vinyasa Yoga, said, “In truth, yoga doesn’t take time – it gives time.” This April, give time to yourself to get stronger in mind, body, and spirit, while extending a helping hand to young patients in dire need of help. Register to Yoga Reaches Out here now.
