ASHGROVE’S Dominique Gardiner and her son Joseph are gearing up for this weekend’s cystic fibrosis ball. Balle de Classique Grandeur is the theme of this year’s ball to find a cure for the disease. Cystic fibrosis (CF) is the most common life threatening genetic condition in Australia. One in every 25 Australians carries a defective CF gene.
Mrs Gardiner’s son Joseph, 16, suffers from the disease.
