Sexual violence can leave lasting emotional harm. Survivors often need safe spaces, counseling, and long-term support to heal. Communities play an important role in helping survivors feel believed, supported, and safe.
Saffron Centre provides counseling, education, and support services for survivors of sexual violence. They also assist families and work with community partners to promote healing and prevention. To continue this work, they are hosting a special fundraising gala.
The Igniting Hope Gala 2026 will take place on Thursday, September 10, 2026 at The Agora, Strathcona County Community Centre. The evening will honor survivors, celebrate community support, and highlight the organization’s new purpose-built space for healing and care. This event helps fund counseling services, survivor support programs, and community education. It also supports the development of a safe and accessible space designed to help survivors heal with dignity.
Join here to support survivors and help build safer, more supportive communities.
Igniting Hope Gala
Thursday, September 10, 2026
The Agora, Strathcona County Community CentreOur second annual Igniting Hope Gala is an evening dedicated to celebrating the strength of survivors and the compassion of the community that stands behind them. This gathering brings us together to honour healing, connection, and the future we are building together.
For over 25 years, Saffron Centre has stood as a trusted source of healing and hope for survivors of sexual violence. Through counselling. community education, and specialized police and court support, we walk alongside survivors, families, and children with compassion and evidence-based care. Today, more people than ever are reaching out for help, and we are ready to answer that call.
