David Beckham (pictured), Sir Chris Hoy, Dame Tanni Grey-Thompson, Denise Lewis and Colin Jackson have lent their support to the London 2012 humanitarian organisation International Inspiration.
As part of the winning to bid to land the Games, London pledged to effect, connect and inspire children worldwide through sport.
The five celebrity sports heroes have pledged to help that happen.
‘My involvement in the London bid and at Beijing, made me realise the power of the Olympic Games. Sport is a language that everyone speaks, and it can be used to change lives,’ David Beckham said about London 2012 International Inspiration.
