Jamie Foxx donated $500 000 worth of music equipment to high school students this week.
New violins, flutes, French horns, trumpets and drums will go to students in 16 schools in the US, as part of an initiative called FutureStage.
‘Even if a kid is not going to be the greatest musician in the world, just the fact that you gave him something, the fact that you said, Hey, I care about you, that’s what it’s about,’ Jamie Foxx said at the music program launch event.
