St.George Illawarra Dragons player Jamie Soward is currently auctioning off his signed head gear for the Bushfire Appeal charity.
The prize will be snapped up by some lucky bidder just a day before St George Illawarra play the annual Charity Shield game against the Rabbitohs.
‘Seeing all the devastation has made me feel pretty privileged and lucky to still have everything,’ Soward said, ‘You look at some people – they lost everything in an instant. The best thing to come out of it was the way Australia pulled together and hopefully we can continue that on Saturday night.’
Jamie Soward’s head gear is currently up for auction on eBay, the charity auction will finish February 27 just after 5pm.
