For the Daily News Architect/Playhouse Coordinator Gary Ahern led a tour of the 15 fabulous one-of-a-kind playhouses that were part of the event.
All proceeds from the auction of the theme houses at the Dreams Happen Gala on June 6 will be donated to Rebuilding Together, for its projects that rehabilitate homes and community facilities for low-income people from Sunnyvale to Daly City. Dwyer has participated in Rebuilding Together work projects. She said she loves working along with the beneficiaries and volunteers. “I’m here for everyone else &mdash Rebuilding Together and Parca. It’s a way of giving back to the community,” she said to the more than 60 guests. Seen greeting everyone were Dreams Happen Gala and Auction co-chairwomen Rehala Abbas and Cala Griffith, with committee members Courtney Charney, Suzi Tinsley, Stephanie Oshman and Susan Martin. The Shark House with Sharks memorabilia will be sold by raffle, and the winner will be announced. Tickets for $5 each can be purchased at Stanford Shopping Center.
