Calling all knitters: The City of Sydney Library and its branches are hosting a knit Inn for charity throughout July.
The unusual library initiative is to support Wrap With Love, the NSW not-for-profit organization that has sent over 184 000 warm, handmade wraps to people suffering from extreme cold in over 75 countries (including Australia). Each colorful wrap is made up of 28 25cm x 25cm squares of 8 ply yarn with size 8 (4mm) needles.
The library will supply wool and a comfy place: all you need are your own needles and the will to get stuck in for charity at the Knit Inn this July.
