The Nicholson House has become a bustle of activity as members of the prepare for the annual Sale on the Grounds beginning Friday and
running all weekend. Each piece is priced to sell and on Sunday everything is half-price except for items in the antique room. All items, except antiques, left at the end of the sale are donated to charity, but the sale generally sells out according to Paula Reed, chair of the event. “We try to think about what you would pay at T.J. Maxx and cut that in half,” she said. The Sale on the Grounds begins Friday with a preview party from 7 to 9 p.m. Today is the last day to make reservations at . Refreshments including wine and beer from Rozi’s Wine House will be available. The sale will continue from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday and from noon to 3 p.m. Sunday.
