At their next monthly meeting, Linux Users Victoria will auction unneeded computer hardware to raise money for the non-profit climate change organisation, Climate Positive.
Climate Positive work with local businesses to measure and reduce carbon emissions, and are also involved in tree planting for the purpose of carbon offsetting.
Linux Users Victoria is one of the largest Linux Users’ Groups in Australia it is based in Melbourne.
The Linux Users Victoria meeting, where 62 items will be auctioned for Climate Positive, will begin at 7pm, March 4, at the The Buzzard Lecture Theatre, Evan Burge Building, Trinity College, Melbourne University Main Campus, Parkville.
