Get involved A PAIR of fund raisers are taking to the skies in aid of their chosen charity.
Howard Jones-Awyer and Anthony Lowton will do a parachute jump in aid of Willowbrook Hospice, in Prescot. Howard, 33, from Rainhill, and Anthony, 26, from Fazakerley are hoping to raise between £1,000 and £1,500 on July 19. Howard said: “We have family members who have needed the care of the hospice and it was wonderful. “I’m nervous about the parachute jump but it’s in a good cause.” Diane Humphreys, the Events and Marketing co-ordinator for Willowbrook Hospice said: “We are thrilled Howard and Anthony are doing this event for our charity, we are always looking for fundraisers to attempt exciting new events.
“We wish them all the very best for their efforts.”
