Get involved STUNT riders leapt through blazing rings of fire in front of hundreds of people who flocked to the Liverpool Military Show yesterday.
Red Devil army parachutists glided through glorious blues skies above Walton Hall Park while military re-enactment enthusiasts carried out a re-enactment of the D-Day landings at Normandy as spectators looked on. The Royal Signals White Helmets Motorcycle Display Team were once again on hand to entertain the crowds despite the looming cuts facing the 33rd Regiment. The event aimed to raise money for charity, with the Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen and Families Association (SSAFA) in line to receive the lion’s share of this year’s proceeds together with the Army Benevolent Fund, Help for Heroes, the Royal British Legion and other charities.
