COLORADO SPRINGS – The first-ever Warriors For Charity Car & Bike Show was held Saturday outsite Citadel Mall.
Its purpose is to raise money to buy school clothes and supplies for foster children, and for kids who are political refugees from war-torn countries.
Army veteran Don Harris is a co-founder of the event. He says he expected about 300 vehicles to be in the show. Harris is a former foster child himself, and says the event is a good way to address a community need. The event accepted corporate and individual donations.
