The (MTM) group, established on meetup.com, is based out of, mainly, south of Fort Worth.
It is a not-for-profit group comprised of both stay-at-home and working moms. The group consists of approximately 50 members and is consistently growing. They are a very active, social and successful group. MTM ventures out in the metroplex often for events that take place all throughout the week including weekends. MTM is also active in giving back to the community. Quarterly they hold successful charity events. Past charitable contributions have included sending quilts and necessities to soldiers serving overseas, providing pregnancy and parenting literature for a local women’s shelter, providing Children’s books and toys for the local Cook’s Children’s hospital as well as food drives. On May 23rd they celebrated their second anniversary. In order to commemorate the event they sought out donations from local businesses for raffles prizes and goody-bag stuffers for both the moms and the kids. They did not know what to expect with the economy the way it is and MTM being such a small group in comparison to more nationally recognized ones. However, they were more than pleasantly surprised by the responses they got and they want to thank those businesses appropriately. Without their contributions the anniversary picnic would not have been as successful as it was. It is not often you run into this kind of generosity and everyone should know who these businesses and organizations are and thank them for giving back to the community by becoming or continuing to be patrons. The MTM group would like to thank:
