Mandy Moore has spoken about her time in Africa handing out millions of malaria nets for PSI (Population Services International).
The singer and actress says, ‘It was a humanitarian trip to southern Sudan and I’d never been to Africa before and I absolutely fell in love… I fell in love with the people and their spirit I was blown away by everything… I’m going to start working with this organization, called PSI (Population Services International) and they’re like this organization that works in, like, 65 different countries around the world.’
Mandy Moore also said she she’ll be working with PSI’s new program Five & Alive, joining PSI’s Global Ambassador and Board Member Ashley Judd, who is calling attention to World Malaria Day, 14 May.
