A range of unique Martin Luther King photos by Benedict J. Fernandez from the ‘Countdown to Eternity’ series are up for auction.

The photos were taken in New York during the mid sixties and capture some of the moments from the last years of the great man’s life and also highlight the importance of his legacy.

The photos are part of an auction that will raise funds for the Barat Foundation, providing arts education programs inner city youth.

The Martin Luther King Benedict J. Fernandez charity auction will end July 16.
