8:24am Wednesday 26th August 2009 PLANNERS are poised to put the brakes on reviving large-scale motocross events in Hampshire.
The track at Matterley Basin near was built in 2006 and later that year hosted the biggest global event in the sport, the Motocross of Nations. It also held the British motocross GP that year and crowds of up to 50,000 flocked to the venue, which resulted in severe traffic problems. No international events have been held there since.
